Early Admit Pathway for Current Hanover Students and Transfer Applicants
In order to be considered for the Early Admit Program into the Hanover College Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program, current Hanover students and eligible transfer applicants must submit the following:
- Hanover College Undergraduate Application (for new transfer students only)
- Early Admit Program Application — due February 1* of the application year
- Notification of Admission — offers issued no later than March 1*
- Letter of Intent — due April 1* (students may be placed on a waitlist pending review of GPA and prerequisite progress)

*Transfer Students that apply for undergraduate admission after the February 1 deadline should speak with their admission counselor to find out if they are eligible for a pathway into the Early Admit programs.
Minimum Academic Requirements
- Cumulative College GPA: 3.50 (unweighted, based on all completed college coursework)
Additional Materials
- Two Letters of Recommendation:
- One from a college faculty member (preferably in a science course)
- One from an academic advisor, healthcare professional, or supervisor
- Resume highlighting leadership, service, and healthcare or community involvement
- Personal Essay addressing the following prompt:
Describe your motivation to pursue a career in physical therapy and the personal attributes that will contribute to your success in the DPT program. How will Hanover College’s DPT program support you in achieving your personal and professional goals?
